• What price do I pay at a Q8 electric charger?

  Are you a Tango electric customer?
  Check the Tango electric or Tango electric business app to view the current rates.

  Are you using another charging card or app?
  Please check the rates with your provider. The price you pay depends on the agreement with your charging card or app provider.

  Paying with a debit or credit card?
  You can find the current rates on the screens of our charging stations.

• What methods can I use to pay at a Q8 electric charging station?

   

  At Q8 electric public charging stations, you can pay with:

  • Q8 electric (BE) or Tango electric charging card

  • Q8 app (BE) or Tango electric app (private customers)

  • Q8 electric business app (BE) or TAngo electric business app (corporate customers)

  • Charging card/app from another provider (our network supports more than 98% of commonly used charging cards)

  • Debit card (Maestro / V PAY) (fast chargers only)

  • Credit card (Mastercard / Visa) (fast chargers only)

  • Apple Pay (fast chargers only)

  • Google Pay (fast chargers only)

• My charging card is not accepted at a Q8 electric charger. What can I do?

  Unable to charge your car at one of our charging stations? The issue is often easy to resolve. Please go through the checklist below:

  1. Check your charge card

  • Make sure your charge card is active.
  • Have you recently activated your card? It may take a few days before it works everywhere.
  • Please try again later if needed.

  2. Contact your charge card provider

  • Is your card still not working? Please contact your charge card provider.
  • They can check if your card is compatible with our charging stations.

  3. Check the charging station

  • Is there a light on at the charging station?
  • Is the light red? This may indicate a fault.

  If you see a red light or are unsure or you are a Tango Electric customer and you have a Tango Electric charge card please contact us. We are happy to help!

   

• How do I stop a charging session at a Q8 electric charger?

  You can stop your charging session by presenting the same charging card, payment card, or mobile phone to the card reader again, or by ending the session in the app — just as you started the charging session.

  Please note: Make sure you use the same card at the same payment terminal, otherwise a new session may be started.

  You can also stop the charging session via the charger screen by following the instructions displayed.

  Attention: For most vehicles, the charging cable unlocks automatically after the session has ended. For some vehicles, you will need to manually unlock the charging cable via the vehicle itself.

• How do I start a charging session at a Q8 electric charger?

  Charging at a Q8 charging station is easy:

  • Connect the charging cable to your vehicle
  • Follow the instructions on the charging station screen
  • Start your charging session using:
    • Your charging card
    • Your payment card (via the payment terminal)
    • Or your mobile app, such as the Tango electric or Tango electric business app

  Are you currently a Tango electric customer?
  Then you can easily charge via the app or with your charging card, at the most competitive rate.
